When arriving to Hamburg in 2015 I started a new sketchbook, which over time transform in a new Bestiary full of creatures from my imagination.

The idea of creating this BESTIARY comes in play with no premeditation, it comes just from the imaginary creatures that began to appear displayed in the first white pages of my sketchbook, and that caught my attention, and in response to them I chose to create a bestiary focusing my attention on bringing new forms from my mind as if it was the discovering task of a biologist who dedicates his time to describe and draw the new species he found in his travelings to unknown magical lands. Thus, trying to be a traveler to my inner world, I began again to rediscover the habitat of my own imagination and fantasy once again.
To create the works in the images I started fist drawing each new creature in pencil guided by my instincts and particular aesthetic mindset, and then I gave them a name, which is written down in calligraphic lettering design with brushes and watercolors. Finally, I positioning myself as a biologist, and I make annotations or basic description of the discovery of new species in a long journey to magic lands.

Cuando arribe a Hamburgo en 2015 empece a llenar un nuevo cuaderno de bocetos, que con el tiempo se transformo en un Bestiario de criaturas de mi imaginación.
Cuando arribe a Hamburgo en 2015 empece a llenar un nuevo cuaderno de bocetos, que con el tiempo se transformo en un Bestiario de criaturas de mi imaginación.
La idea de crear este BESTIARIO no vino con premeditación, sino que en las primeras imágenes que cree en las páginas blancas empezaron a aparecer criaturas imaginarias que llamaron mi atención de inmediato, y en respuesta a ellas decidí crear un bestiario concentrando mi labor en traer de mi imaginación nuevas formas tal como si fuera la tarea de descubrimiento de un biólogo que dedica su tiempo a describir las nuevas especies encontradas en viajes a tierras desconocidas; especies que son reportadas por medio de dibujos y escritos. Así, intentado ser un viajero a mi mundo interior, empece nuevamente a redescubrir el habitad de mi imaginación nuevamente.
Para crear los trabajos en las imágenes primero empece a dibujar cada nueva criatura en lápiz dejándome llevar por mis instintos y estética particular para luego darles un nombre, el cual es escrito en diseño caligráfico con pinceles y acuarelas. Finalmente posicionándome como un biólogo hago una anotación o descripción básica del descubrimiento de una nueva especie durante un largo viaje a tierras nuevas.
